Should I use third-party libraries for my app?

Question

I am working on my app (SelfEmot) to add something new in it.

An idea came to my mind that I should add a FAB with a setting's icon which in turn will blur the activity and some other FAB's will appear with labels.

The problem is that I am confused whether I should use a ready-made library or do it myself as I don't have added any TPL so far in this app.

Yes you can totally use 3rd party library for your app instead of wasting time on making it from scratch, like this you also get to know about different libraries that are present.
But if you are making this app for learning or practicing purposes only then I would recommend you to make it from scratch
