What are the best ways to practice more and more projects?

The more you practice the better your results. This theory also applies to programming & coding. But the programming skill will only be better if we practice by doing projects. How can we practice on the right path by doing projects? What are the best ways, resources, and tactics we need to follow for becoming an expert programmer?

If progress is the aim, I'd say it's mainly about choosing your projects wisely.

They should be in the direction of what you want to do, and they have to be hard enough.

Not so hard, that it takes eternities to write and debug, but definitely you should extend your scope a bit with every project, use a bit of stuff you haven't used before, research a bit...

If you do that over and over, and concentrate on doing a good job every time, logically there's no way you won't get better and better.
