Why is post-increment more common than pre-increment?

No one says post increment is more common than pre increment.
It's programmer choice what he needs to do in his/her program, post or pre increment.
These are basic concept or can say logics you want in your program.
No one is more popular neither pre nor post increment.

Chirag Kumar I'm just saying that it's more popular based on my experience 😅 it's more commonly used but I guess it's arbitrary in this case then.
