Consider C, C++, C# and related languages. These languages are mainly used for creating standalone computer applications such as games. C and C++ are difficult languages to learn for a beginner, but not impossible. Learning them will give you an in depth understanding of not only programming, but also of how a computer works. Good luck!

VENKATESH I really appreciate that you went through that link and made a good decision. Yes Python is quite famous and I would recommend you to dive in the course right away. Learn the language in detail and whenever you do not understand something kindly post your doubts here in the Q&A, someone will surely help you out.

VENKATESH Duration depends on how much time do you spend learning it every day, so it varies person to person. You can start learning the course on sololearn and read the comments section in the course to understand things in greater detail with examples. Do not restrict yourself to sololearn alone. Also check out some youtube videos and websites that teach Python.
