oh ok, from that context think of it as a table with rows and columns, just like if you opened an excel sheet. although it could also be a interpreted as a plane.

anything like a coordinated plane where you plot points or like a table with rows and columns. it depends on the context. where did you encounter it?

bahha Appreciatted your reply i found it in the explanation to LISTS In this app "Lists of lists are often used to represent 2D grids, as Python lacks the multidimensional arrays that would be used for this in other languages."
