Ece students: 1 or many language ?

For Ece students, is it good to either master a single programming language or learning fundamentals of multiple languages ?

Learn assembly language and C++. As an ECE student this is enough. Try to learn these two in depth.

For people who only know fundamentals of multiple languages, there is a saying: "jack of all trades, master of none". And that's not a good thing. If you want to be employed in future, you should focus on a single language for as long as you need to master it and only then you can switch to another language.

You should be master in a single programming language. Fundamentals of most languages are same, syntax differs.
