How to save HTML programme in note pad ?

just make sure you save it as filename.html and not filename.html.txt its pretty common problem. you can see if there's extra .txt by enabling "File name extensions" in windows explorer > view

Save it from the file menu using a .htm or .html extension.

Chetali Shah yes, by default. It is "All files" unless you or someone changes it.

Adding to what Taste said, while saving check your file make sure your save as type is "All Files"

you can save html file in 2 ways 1. filename.html 2. filename.htm make sure that in file type -> select all files otherwise your file will save as a text document Browser cant execute txt file
