Java and C++ dominates most of the game industry. If you want to learn making 2d games, applications such as RPG Maker uses Ruby if I remember correctly. If you want to learn making android apps and games, Java is your way to go. If you want to learn making iOS apps, you may want to learn Swift. If you want to learn making visual novel games, RenPy is a great app that uses Python. If you want to learn how to make complex 3D games, you should try learning C++. Hope I helped.

As a biginner you should start with python or Javascript , because they are the most easiest and uses language in programming world. So, to understand the major concept of a programming languages should start with one of them. If you learn a language properly, then other's any language will be easy for you.
