Will learning ruby for building an e-commerce app good?

I know c++ very for some reason I just don't like it. So I'm planning to learn something new. I thought of learning ruby since everyone says that its an easy language, also I'm planning to build an e-commerce app with. Also just a side note that I do also know sql, so its a plus point for managing data for my app. Your help will be appreciated 😊

Perhaps you will need to learn the Rails framework as well. Python and Django are another option.
