What steps should I take to properly learn data science and land a job with python and what not? Like I’ve been using this app to learn python and eventually SQL, but what else should I be learning? Can I learn everything outside of a bootcamp/university?

Learning all by yourself is like a never ending process and you will never be sure whether you have learnt the right thing to become job ready.

So I would suggest you to take an online self paced course from either udemy or coursera which best suit your need. This is the best you can do at the moment if you don't want to attend university or a bootcamp which is going to cost you a hell lot of money.
