Is there any game engines supports java?
I really love java , but good game engines like unity or ue only supports c++ c# and javascript

yes there are, maybe not like unity or unreal, but some people made warpers for OpenGL, a famous one called lwjgl, but this is just for graphics mainly (this is what Minecraft uses), there are also other libraries like libGDX which are used by alot of games with a support for both desktop and mobile (even html). you can also create one by yourself using software renderer where all of the graphic calculations are made using the CPU, good for small 2D games.

I may be wrong, but doesnt Minecraft run off Java? Im basing this off seeing ".jar" files in it..

Well I'm learning Java for different reasons other than you, but maybe this can help. I believe Java and all other coding languages are better for some purposes better than others, and I am personally learning Java to create Android apps, not use it in game engines as you say, but it can be used in games on Android apps then.
