For web development one should know most of the languages HTML CSS JavaScript SQL PHP etc ,
for app development only one could be enough .
If you master in Java you don't need to know C++ but the more you know the better you become so keep on learning .

This is sort of going to be a trick answer, but...once you learn one language and the basics for how code works, you have essentially learned the basics for all languages, as there are usually more than a few things in common with each language. I is definitely possible to learn one and master it. Java is great example for android developers, c++ is used for the unreal engine, and swift is for apple software, so you could easily master one of those and use it.
Having said that, I think any kind of web developer should have knowledge of at least html, css, and javascript to be an effective web coder. Hope this helps!
Cheers

It's not about the language as much as it's about problem solving, building stuff. The language is just a tool, and if you see it as such you'd have no problem learning all you need to solve a problem.

Language just tool for you to understand. We are programmer so you must take step a head build your own program with your known language. If you are programmer without product than its like you learn english, japanese, chinese language without know it usage.
just learn necessary language to fight your own problem :
