Aldo Math has little scope in programming. As a web developer no need of advanced math. Basic math is enough.
Check this if you want to be web developer.

Martin Taylor You are going on higher level. 😂😂 On the basic level I don't think you need to know the advanced mathematics. Btw his question is related to web development and there is nothing much to do with mathematics.

Web developement involves maths too.
A few common situations:
1. In CSS, calculating the required gradient angle for a background. Or using calc() to calculate accurate min-width of an element. Let's not talk of complex maths calculations for sass mixins and functions.
2. Calculating stuffs like loans, interest, discount etc.
3. Drawing line graphs with d3, canvas or other libraries.
There are more instances.
Apart from programming, mathematics is an essential part of engineering in general.
