You can also do it from scratch also but having powerful game engine like unity will make the task much easier and much more efficient.

AztroKat I think you haven't seen power of unity engine yourself. Even the mobile version call of duty is made on unity. Also unity is easier to learn compared to other engines which makes it a perfect choice for beginners.

Bagon Thanks, I am surprised of Cry Engine being in the list since I thought that it only used C++, nice to know.

Bagon Could you say their names please? I am interested. I only know about Unity, Unreal and Godot.

Yes you do, but there are other game engines too,for example godot engine, is based on the python syntax and it's really easier to learn(they're also going to implement c# or c++ in godot 4.x) but unity has more "potential", I mean a bigger community, and more monetization APIs, even that said, godot engine is planning some big updates and it's really newbie friendly... AztroKat I really recomend you looking it up a really great YouTuber that uploads godot tutorials is HeartBeast that should be a good place to start. good luck ;)

Well... i believe that yes jajajaj... no necesariamente, hay más motores que permiten escribir un juego en c#, aunque creo que el más utilizado es unity.
