Could someone suggest a UNIQUE mini project in c or c++?

I wish to make a mini project in either c or c++. Can anyone suggest me a unique idea for the same.

I just need a reference / idea. The project would be mine and hence unique. Also, I haven't yet decided to make a project from ideas given here. Maybe I'll find one on my own by that time.

If you copy somebody's idea, it doesn't seem to be unique for you, does it?
