I'm a Java developer with 1 and half years of experience. how to be in demand when things will be automated. what are the technologies that will in demand?

go learn the automation requirements, and also see what language is trending or companies need.
Second opinion: if you don't know any other languages, then Python and JS are great choices to change your job after everything get automatic in Java or in your job position. there will be always a coding job, languages change, softwares changes, but always there are still a part for the programmer to do. that damn code won't be written itself :)
