How do you learn Css?

Question

I have found here Css tutorials copy of w3school and it feels like a lot reference and how can one remember so much or use google everytime?.
In my opinion I have found it harder than programming languages maybe because it has too much detail which beginner wouldn't need.Is there any essentials that one should remember or how do you became expert with this and how can one become good at it what Projects/Tasks one should do?
