Why make us learn something and end it with "its not good practice"?

If something isnt good practice, wont it be better not to mention it at all?? I wont know that if you didnt teach me.. I really need to understand the thought process here.. coz across most learning materials/instructors you learn something then at the end you hear that's not good practice. Its exhausting. 😡

Patient, many of us began with whatever was available, and learn something new along the way, which could be better in some ways from other people. It is part of learning everything actually, we learn new, better ways to do something. Look at it this way, in case we didn't start (or delayed) something for the sake of some "good practices", then there's a chance we don't start at all. Better start with something that's available and improve as we go. That said, Idk if this was about the courses (you didn't say any), but if this concerns the course(s) - better mention which course you think needs improvements. And there's also the Feedback feature in the app to send suggestions. Without specifics, this can be considered "off-topic" : )
