You'll need a lot of Maths to become a Data Scientist. But if you just want to become a software developer or engineer, then you won't need much math in real life. What you will need will be problem solving, logic building, and a creative mind.

If you really want to become a Data Scientist...who cares? You can learn the math you need just like you learn coding. Good Luck on your journey 🍀😊

As data scientist you need to use logical and statistical methods to analyze data. For example you can make physical simulations to find relationships between features. I think basic knowledge of statistics are a part of mathematics but not only. I hope that helps.

As a Data scientist you will be using a large number of libraries making the calculations for you what you really need it to understand and improve mathematics understand it's not know a bunch of formulas it's about know how to use past data to give predict outcomes

If you know that x = 5 means x can be used in order to reference 5
You can be data scientist as we use that expression x with for example additional keywords as computer need to be told that you want x = 5 so when we use x you replace that with 5
const x = 5 is like x = 5 in school math const is for a PC and if a teacher was a PC we were going to use const also from school...
Meaning you do it with understanding of math that you already know...
