Please what does a Modulus do?

Returns the remainder ,which is 0 in the case of 32%2 ,for say 5%4 it would be 1 and 4%5 would be 4

Tindan Sandow which first number ? That's the basic maths you should know ,if you divide 23 by 4 ,the nearest multiple of 4 before 23 is 4*5=20 and the remainder left is 3
