Is learning Linux beneficial??

Question

Does Linux has a scope in future?? I'm very much interested in it, especially Manjaro one. So is it beneficial? Is Linux difficult too???

I work part time as a web developer and most of the tools I use work better in Linux than would work on Windows. But if that is not good enough to convince you, note that most of the web infrastructure runs on top of Linux, and, if that wasn't enough, a lot of devices, such as routers, TVs and smartphones run some kind of Linux variant.
Linux and shell knowledge is considered fundamental for most jobs, even though you could go your lifetime without learning it, it would be surely a helpful knowledge to have at hand.
