at first learn and execute basic syntax of php by yourself. Then try downloading sample php projects from internet, understand the code. finally using your own idea u can start your own projects, you will find doubts..search those doubts in google....don't give up.

dont forget to learn frameworks after finishing basic lessons and some about object oriented. framework will force you to learn many new things and it will give you plus point for your curriculum vitae.

none of them is the best. it is all about taste. you might find yourself need to learn various framework that your company use. but if we talk about popular one, i think laravel framework is the most popular now.
