speed does not always equate energy efficiency. Compiled languages like C, C++, Rust, are some of the most energy efficient languages out there. However, Java is one of the fastest and most energy-efficient object-oriented language in my opinion!

🥇👩‍💻 Kintu Michael Evans 🔥🔥 I think kotlin is faster in app development but has same performance speed as java, Kotlin targets “Java Virtual Machine” (JVM), moreover, it uses “Java standard libraries” and “Java class libraries”.

Kotlin generates same byte codes as java so there will be no any major difference in performance between java and kotlin.

Also in some aspects java is still faster in performance.

C is the fastest and best for operating systems (though rust is also a good choice), and C++ is among the best for games and apps. Java is actually pretty slow (at runtime at least), but it is pretty energy efficient (as Piyush[21 Dec❤️] said). For all you people saying python, python is just about the slowest commonly used language there is.
