File in git

Question

I have a very important question for which I don't clearly understand anything of git ,if we work with HTML, we have to keep all things in same directory or relative path . But if we work with any file using git, in what directory it works ? Like add command of any file . How to use git's any page .
I think I could able to explain my issue, please help me .

I asked for using git in termux .
I understand 3 languages Bengali ,English and Hindi .I can write Bengali and English. But not Hindi
