Minimum load time for Image

Question

I am working on a website in which there are a no. Of images (approx 100)need to be loaded on a single page, I want to know what method we can use to give them a minimum load time.

Totally agree with you sir, but the quality I wanted in images... I can compress the image upto 400-500 kb, and as I mentioned their may be approx 100 images to load it will be a lot data to have.....

I found a solution that I can store the age in database itself by using blob datatype, I am trying it, but still no luck. Can you please suggest something
