I learn C++ in school. May I start another language on my own? And which?

If this is your first time learning any programing language then I would recommend sticking to C++ only. It is not recommended specially for a beginner to learn 2 languages at once as you might end up confusing the terms and or syntax between those. Once you have good hold of one, it would be much easier and faster to learn any other language for you.

Oliwia Since you are going without any goals , you are free to choose any programming language .learn python , I'll suggest as it'll be easy and cool for you since you know cpp .
