Ipang is definitely right. Most people here are self-learners and many of them are pretty good at coding. But at the same time, if you can pursue a degree in computer science, from a college, it will definitely benefit you. Colleges teach not just 'coding', many concepts that you might not encounter when learning yourself. Also, I think it will be easier for you to get a job when you have a degree. If you do have reasons for not pursuing a CS degree in college, for example, you want go into some other field while still learning programming, or you're past that age, or some other reason, then I will say that getting good at coding while learning yourself is totally possible.
