well, I have pretty much decided IT is not for me, and I remember asking questions like this about IT and other things that I wasn’t really amped for, but felt like I could maybe do, but secretly wanted to find a magic way to increase my skills without working at it. I didn’t really like the idea of IT, deep down, but since I didn’t want to come out and flat say my problems with it because I knew that would shut it down, I just got into this kind of perpetual “I don’t know what I need“phase.

as general business logic, don’t try to be good enough and what you do, try to be the best. The good Hardwork, deliver on time and beyond expectations, amd especially be humble and respectful.

OK, that’s not generally something you say online, but regardless this question has kind of exit in the programming area. anyway, if you want to be an IT guy, I recommend C. it gives a pretty thorough understanding of how programming and Computer memory basically works, and it will help you in a lot of places.

to be a good IT guy, you have to not post questions like that without using the search bar. I am half silly, but half serious. There’s no magic dust that will make you get more money at a job. I do recommend C if you really want to be an IT guy, but sensing from the nature of the question, I’m not sure this is what you’re really built for. No amount of learning can replace built-in want to do. if you don’t feel like you could do programming your entire life, don’t be an IT guy. Think of what you like doing for fun that’s productive. things you like helping your parents with, and maybe even look for opportunities to help.

maybe IT is for you, just what you’ve said earlier that you felt you can do it. Maybe you just have to dig deeper and find a silver lining in the IT field so that you can be motivated in searching what field in IT you enjoy. (considering the fact that IT is a broad program) â˜ș
