I want to start learning a proper language for my starting career in this field.. help me with suggestions.

I want to know that which framework or language i should choose.. should i go for the .net with c# or should i go for java..(not java script). i really want to know. and dont mix it up with html or css. i am not talking about them as they are markup languages. i am looking for programming language.thankyou.

Learn Java -Well designed -Good base for other object orientated languages -big comunity -modern concepts -a lot of projects

I agree with java. It's really flexible and is used in many ways like " Android Development" and such. Don't limit yourself, but take on Java to the gills(learn everything and master the concepts of data structures when you get to them). Also, find out what type of jobs or fields you're most interested in because there isn't a single job offer that doesn't require multiple languages of familiarity. Once you get a strong handle of Java, or whatever you choose, learning other similar languages will be easier as youll only need to learn new syntax. Branch out and don't be afraid of new languages in the future.
