F.M. radio that works everywhere.

Question

Greetings, I want to create an FM radio website, but if I add the stations from my country, they won't work for most users. Is there by chance an FM frequency that will work worldwide, or at least for an entire continent(it still would give me something to work with)? Also, is Sololearn going to have any problems reading codes that include FM links and frequencies? I know, these are dumb questions(I never said I was the sharpest knife in the kitchen), so I want to thank in advance everyone who shares their expertise. You guys are awesome!

U should make via online m3u8 urls but that will work on internet

Wilbur Jaywright Yes, I'm talking about the stations. I used the word "frequencies" because each radio station operates under a different frequency. My bad. As for the code, I'll see what I can do.

FM radio? A streaming service on a website is not the same as listening to the radio with an actual receiver. If the streaming service is being blocked in some countries, chances are those countries don’t want to get exposed by whatever is playing on that radio service.

Wilbur Jaywright I never said it was going to be a walk in the park. If I try to do this with the radio frequencies of my country, even with all my hard work, it'll most likely work only from my country. Which is why I was wondering if there was a way to make it a bit more international, with frequencies which will work in more than one country.

“Frequencies” is not the right word. I think you mean “stations.”

Anyway, you might try a VPN hosted in a different country.

Anyway, I saw the VPN trick on YouTube, though I don’t know exactly how it works. I think it’s pretty much the same thing as in spy movies where they say “they bounced the email all around the world:“ it’s basically connecting to the entirety of the Internet after going through a private server in a different location. It’s like hiring a second man to do something for you to protect your identity.

I'll look into that. Well, one thing is certain. Google controls most of the world, so I'm gonna need its permission to use some of its API's, to make this even remotely close to an FM radio website.

Wilbur Jaywright It's possible. They have been pretty strict lately when it comes to privacy issues, so I wouldn't be surprised.
