What exercises are good for a beginner programmer to improve his skills?

As above :) I'm interested in C++ and some basic ones in Python. Thanks in advice :)

In my opinion, it's great practice to go through YouTube videos and tutorials and follow along with them. Don't just watch, do the examples and make changes with them. Think about what your doing, and try to understand what is happening when you write the code that you write. When you are ready, think of something that you would like to make that is practicial, usefull, and we'll within your knowledge to program. When I first started to really like programming, It was with BASIC, on a calculator. I followed along with some tutorials, and then started building my own usefull applications on the calculators, which I then shared with other people. My programs where useful, fun to code, and helped me retain my knowlege. I hope this helps, and I wish you the best of luck on your journey!
