why this selectors doesn't work for a href (hyper link reference). i wrote as : a href{ } but it doesn't show anything what should i do??

the "href is just a property" the tag name is "a" so you should write a { }

but the best way is to use id.
In the html you write:
<a href="website" id="anyword'>
And in css :
#anyword {

}
