In this code,does coef mean a value like I have done in the code?
the question is:
11.9 Implement an overloaded multiplication operator * to return the dot product of two Point
objects (see Problem 10.1 on page 249)

It works fine, so I guess coef mean exactly what you have done, and I believe it stands for "coefficient"
