because it's fun. it teaches you logic. it improves other skills too. the real question is: why shouldn't you learn to program?

If you are eager to explore and wanting to communicate with machines. You can do this only by designing specific softwares and this will require the knowledge of programming languages. After all, the machines can't understand English :-P

according to my view i learn programming bcz i want to control each and every part of computer with the help. of language!!!! now the question arises how we communicate!!! as we know that computer understand only signals,,, up and down. of voltage,,, i cant explain all the thingh but all the language work as a type of layer between programmer and computer... let us take an example if i. need to talk with Japanese boy i have to higher a person can convert my. language into japenese... i think u get ur ans
