Question

What is the function of "Bits" in the SoloLearn app. I've accumulated a decent amount but I'm not sure what to do with them. Is this some form of in-app currency?

Do you mean "Code Bits" in your profile? Code bits are the codes you have created and the number represents the number of codes you have created.

I see ...
I was guessing it was a new term for XP (eXperience Points), noticing the "How to earn more bits" also suggested the same points that increases XP.

But then I see the "bits" counted 200 where your XP counted more than 1100

So my guess could be wrong ...

Let's wait for more knowledgeable people's answers.

You mean the "Code Bits" section in a user's profile page (SoloLearn web)?

If so, it is a list of the user's public code. It has nothing to do with currency, but number of codes affects the percentage of "Coder" section in the said user's "Activity" section (the pie chart at the bottom of profile page) which I think is only viewable in the app.

Not "Code Bits" but simply just "Bits." This can be found in the top right corner of the app and has a small cube icon.

Also, go to Profile Tab > See Activity. There you will see a "Code Bits" tab. Can you check if the number just above "Code Bits" is the same as the "Bits" you're talking about?

I think it is a pro feature now that I think about it. I only have 4 code bits but 200 "Bits" in the other sense. I'd upload a screenshot, except I don't know how in the discussion section 😅😭

Sooo, i guess this is a new pro feature. but it doesn't show the "bits" feature when it asks you to upgrade to pro. so it's totally a new feature then, how is it pro users?

Assassin actually, I think ALL code challenges unlocked once you buy pro. (I have pro.) So I'm not quite sure of that's what it does
