How is programming helpful for a physicist?Should I learn programming?

I am Gary and I want to be a physicist,I am in high school and I know that physicists use some kinds of simulations to know about universe, dark matter, elementary particles and galaxies.

hmm... programming can... calculate the distance between the objects? or mostly math problems could be solved at a fast pace. aand use a database to keep track of object change? man, I'm not doing physicist. but mostly you will get already made programs from the internet so you don't have to learn to code.

Hi! set yourself a goal to write, for example, an artificial intelligence program to find extraterrestrial intelligence or something else like that. you can get your ideas from Neil deGrasse Tyson or Stephen Hawking. unless it turns out later that this intelligence will not become a threat to humanity...

You can use simple python to help organize and collect data. If you are going to learn a programming language, python is definitely the way to go
