CSS is cascading style sheets.It's main use is to make a website stylish. It is used to style specific elements in HTML using some methods.

CSS is just to give style atributes to your web page. (It makes your web page look cool) In my opinion you need to learn CSS if you really want to work with that stuff. Personally I hate CSS... its boring as hell but nowadays its very important if you are working in web dev because the user dont care if your page works at all or if it have bugs or stuff like that, The user only want a web page to looks friendly and easy to use CSS gives you the tools to give this to the user.

CSS is the most essential part of any webpage after HTML. HTML gives your site a structure, CSS makes it beautiful. And Javascript makes it interactive.
