Why are there 2 courses of Python for beginners in Sololearn?

I think it is a great idea, providing more and more exercises to improve self learning, however, recently a new Python for beginners has been added. I haven't finished this second one, but they seem to have more or less the same content. Is there any reason for releasing 2 courses with the same name?

Looks like the second one is simplified as it name denotes. It's totally for beginners and they moved code practices as a last lessons. Btw, it would be good to contact sololearn to get more informations about your doubts related to app. info@sololearn.com

I only see one, perhaps you are looking at one of the other python courses? (Python for data science, intermediate python, python for data structures)

I think we're seeing an artifact from updates. I have a Python Core and Python for Beginners in my course catalog, too. I completed both, but one shows that I haven't started unless I actually select it, then the top bar shows up just fine. I think SL moved what was one course into three courses, and some remnants of the former's existence are floating around the data model. Of course, I've been known to be wrong.

➵Chloe[she/her] no, both have the same name. One was completed by me, the other one wasn't. I would send the screenshot if I could here.

➵Chloe[she/her] Actually the other link doesn't work. One of them sends you to the main Python Beginners course. The other one sends you to the last tutorial you have seen, instead of displaying the new Python beginners course. But I will send them below anyway. . https://www.sololearn.com/Course/Simplified-Python-for-Beginners/?ref=app . https://www.sololearn.com/Course/Python-for-Beginners/?ref=app

Lucas Kliemczak I think it may be a glitch/bug as I don't see anything in the courses list and the link you sent isn't showing anything. Maybe try reloading the app?

➵Chloe[she/her] See those two Coach Challenges. They are the same, but the link is different. Because each one belongs to a different course. Both courses have the same name. . https://sololearn.com/coach/1029/?ref=app . https://www.sololearn.com/coach/1520?ref=app

➵Chloe[she/her] the screenshots of the courses are in my feed in the following link. Indeed, if you open the leader board from a browser in a computer, you will see the logos of all courses available in Sololearn. The Python for beginners' logo is displayed twice. . https://www.sololearn.com/post/1258880/?ref=app

Simba it's funny that I saw your courses' progress on your profile, by a computer and I can see the 2 courses of Python for beginners. One is 100% and the other is 26% completed.

➵Chloe[she/her] [DMs Open] [K-POP stan] Simba Sammy Raven I found out that it's possible to access the 2nd course of Python for beginners in my timeline. There is an automatic post disclosing when I had started each Sololearn's tutorial. If you don't mind, try to find this Python for beginners in my timeline. There you can open it.
