How does learning programming help me create my own app,that will be better than or rival facebook and co?is coding programming?

The necessity of coding/programming in helping me create my app,and how do i even start creating an app after i learn to code,what programming language will help me create the best app with the smoothest User Interface and best graphics for the app i wish to create..

Coding is programming. And to make apps as big as Facebook, you need to learn how to programming, then spend 5 years making it.

Programming tells the computer what to do, a phone is also a computer. All computers use some programming languages the same, and use other programming languages uniquely. For example windows runs c++, so does all the Operating systems. Mac OS runs Objective-C, which only IOS and MAC OS run.

Learn an easy language first, like python.

to make android apps, learn either c++ or java. Java if you want UI.

For IOS apps learn Swift or Objective-C, Swift is easier.

made the mistake of starting of with ruby is that a bummer for my learning process, have just met a brick wall at iterators.. should i stop and go learn python first or do i go ahead and finish up..how do i create a social media app like Snapchat or Instagram and which programming language will give me an edge and the best result that can appeal to billions of users?thanks David 😁
