Python is used a lot in academia. I would say it is popular among people who aren't programmers or computer scientists in first place (e.g. scientists who use it for data analysis and smaller simulations). I don't think you can build a career on Python only. Programmers and developers most likely need to work with different languages and technologies.

Rellot's screwdriver Python programer earns a lot of money that’t true. But Only python is not enough to land a job. You need other skills like data science, or web dev for back end dev. Python is not only for hobby. Data science,Ml,etc is best with python. What is it that you don’t agree with mee?

@Pranto according to that article you posted it mostly states "Python is used for different purposes all over the site and because of its speed" but in reality, Google and Youtube, instragram, Twitter uses python as their only back-end along with other languages and is already in decline according to the statistics. Although you can say reddit, Spotify, Dropbox was written in python. But I never said it was never used in commercial applications. I only said few. although python's performance isn't really good, and I had visited those websites written entirely on python and experienced constant lags, while others don't. Pranto we had a whole discussion about python, it's just the hype that made people to think python is the messiah of the industry, the truth is, it's really nothing than just for hobby. https://www.sololearn.com/Discuss/2801819/?ref=app

Python isn't really used in commercial applications, nor it has made any impact since about 30 years than JS, Java and C#, unless you wanna learn as a hobby, otherwise it doesn't introduce anything new.

"but why not convert it in passion after getting it as hobby" Tiger if you wanna do some serious software development, python is no go mostly because it's performance.

There are range of those, but I don't know what will fit the best for you. C/C++, Java, C#, Javascript(if you're learning front-end), Rust etc.

Agreed with both of you but What i know about python its is much effective than others programming languages. The point here I wanted to know the demand of the skill set used in python. It would be great to use this as hobby but why not convert it in passion after getting it as hobby.
