How to download gzip tool on archlinux distro from termux ? [Solved]

Question

I am downloading the base-devel package which consists of necessary packages for compiling and linking , it does 20 successful installation but when it comes to gzip i get the following error ,

gzip-1.10-3-armv7h.pkg.tar.xz failed to download error: failed retrieving file 'gzip-1.10-3-armv7h.pkg.tar.xz' from mirror.archlinuxarm.org : The requested URL returned error: 404 warning: failed to retrieve some files error: failed to commit transaction (failed to retrieve some files) Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

Can someone please help me to find out why is this happening and how to correct it ? Thank you !

Edit: works fine after using pacman -Syu instead of -S .
