Html file doesnt display an image when i opened it in ma browser.what could be the reason?

No one can tell until you can show them the code, and reveal more information, such as where you put the image (local, on the cloud), etc.

My code looks like this except that i saved the photo on the same folder as my code files on my pc

Okay, looks fine
Have you verified the filename and extension? if the photo and the HTML document is in the same folder then there should not normally be any problem.

Did browser display any error mesage?
