Why don't we get any XP on jumping a lesson? ( i.e. taking a shortcut )

It doesn't always mean that the person has cheated or saw the answers on the internet? It can also mean that the user knows more.... Then why don't we get even a single XP Point?

@Nicolas Bonnet I jumped a lesson in HTML and didn't get a single XP Point... Are you sure we get XP even on jumping a lesson? If that's the case, Ill contact SoloLearn...

How could you verify the different reasons? Some people care more about gaining XP than really learn and practice programming For the people XP doesn't even matter

In fact you gain experience, equal to the sum of experience you would have by making correct answers to all the questions you jumped.

Yes I took a shortcut over "Basic concepts" of Python course and gained about 15 or 20 experience I think.
