Can somebody please tell me how data gets collected in a dataset from a real world device eg: a drone?

I recently saw a tutorial on the udacity self driving simulator, the data collected got stored in a .CSV file but how to have a program to store data in the real world eg: an Arduino drone having a serial communication with a computer...

Hello. You have to make a program that stores the data you send to the computer into a file in the format you will work in your ANN ( csv, crude binary, etc.).
