Likes matters on many factors like:

1 - you should have more followers
2 - your code should be more attractive and different than others
3 - you have to advertise your code.
4 - you should have your own code not copy code

As i see you have most codes in python, but here most people likes web codes, because this have design, and is interesting much more.
Dont count likes there are not important, knowladge you gain is important.
