How to increase my followers

how does one increase their followers base here on sololearn, I mean I have been here long enough to reach level 6 but got less than 5 followers yet some people got 10+ while at level 3 and below

Hi Thabiso :) Well, I never really seek for new followers, but I've noticed the more you participate the better, I would recommend: 1. Write codes in the Code Playground. Whether they are simple or complex codes, there is going to be someone who will find it useful, as there are lots of beginners, not only pros. I've noticed the community respects people who actually code, not just learn. Comment on other user's codes, it is always great to get and give feedback on people's work. 2. Follow people who challenge you or you challenge. So you can keep playing with each other. 3. Post questions and try to give useful answers, try not to make fun of people who ask "easy" or "dumb" questions, they are beginners it is understandable, try to actually help them, they will appreciate it. 4. Give upvotes (likes) on people's answers, mark answers as the best ones on the questions you post. Give upvotes on the questions of other people you answer, because sometimes people post as many questions as they can to unlock badges. Every now and then I check on people's profiles to see what badges they are missing, so my upvote on their question can help them get not only a new badge but also XP 😊 5. I see you don't have a profile picture... I'm not certain of this but I think a photo of you might help you connect better with other users. This is a psychological fact, we tend to empathize better with a human face, it makes it more personal, otherwise it could feel as if you are playing with a bot haha. Or you could use a pic of a cartoon, a game, a tv show, whatever people could relate to 😊

Play a lot of challenges. When I started in Sololearn, I used to play hundreds of challenges everyday. I got 1000 followers in 10 days I think. From then, it took 3 months to get another 1000. while (isSololearning() && wantFollowers()) { playChallenges(); }

The easiest way is to ask for followers. Here, have a follow! Or make some dank codes..👌 Or answer lots of questions.

Hi there! in my opinion having followers is an optional thing here. Personally, I don't need followers here. So why I am here? Basically from the title of this community you will know what is the purpose of this place. "Solo Learn" well, I am here to LEARN... so that's why having followers is just an optional for me. The most important thing is you learn here for your own benefit and it is also optional to help others and to share your codes with others. So being fame here is just an optional its up to you bro. Don't be like an attention seeker. It is better to organically show your skills by challenging many people here. So yeah... if you want to have lot follower make sure you are influencer what I mean is be unique and skillful user here which anyone could gain benefits from following you. That's it! I'll bid you farewell have a good one!

@Tiyam : To get Code Ninja, we should have 50 codes with 5 or more upvotes in one language. I have 50 codes in 3 languages. So, it's a long way to go.
