Responsive web page means web pages automatically adjusting shape/size/desingn etc of its elements according to screen sizes,.

for example
any web page looking differently on different devices having different screen sizes.
ex . google.com looks different on pcs horizontal screen and adjust itself when we access it through a mobile device having vertical display.

Responsiveness of web pages is achived by specifying conditional css linking , i.e. linking diffrent css files for different screen sizes , or by handeling styles through java script.
