C# runs on?

Isnt xcode and mono on linux and mac support C#? The first question right answer bring me to only .NET framework

You can code in C# on any OS but as far as I know any OS other than Windows will require mono to compile your program.

Why not? don't affraid you can't use C# on popular program, C# is intermediate International Programming Language it can used on mono, unity, unreal engine, cry engine, net frame, game maker (yoyo), xcode(you need newest version).

Hm. I mean why does the answer option has Linux, .Net framework, but the only correct answer is .NET framework. Basically, i'm not a windows user. Not too familiar with it.

because .NET Framework is only Console(written with text only) and in this application we learn C# especially Console then the only correct answer for the Console C# program is .NET Framework, but the others like Unity is commonly has Graphical option
