Is this app really for beginners.

I am so lost. I think i did a mistake. When i first opened this app they asked me if i have any experiences with coding. I chose that i know some stuff about coding, because i have a really small knowledge of coding, but it seemed to be the wrong choice. My first course was C++. Early in the course, i understood the terms they used, because they explained it to me. But later, they started getting really technical and used terms i didnt fully understand. But what concerns me the most is the comments. They seemed to understand the explanations and knows how to used the terms. They helped others using a language i didnt understand, and people found it useful. Should i try to get more basic knowledege (like trying out code.org) about programming and return to this app? I dont want to abandon this app. But my main question is: Is this app really for beginners?

The app is for beginners. But the explanations are very short and not always perfect. And C++ is not a particularly beginner friendly language.
