What are the factors on which the "xp" of a challenge lies???

hey friends,
i am thinking that in some challenges the winner gets as low as 3xp and in some other cases as much as 27xp. so what determine the xp points of a challenge. can anyone help me???

The level in the chosen weapon of each participant is what determines it. Playing against someone lower than you in xp will give you less xp, and more for the inverse.
